I am one that picks up a good MP and plays it to death so I rarely switch to another MP just for the sake of it being the latest and greatest. COD4 for instance is the meaat on my plate at the moment and my next will be RS:V2. It is for this reason that I would rather see more and more developers put their resources in a single iteration of the game and not divide it into two. I know that in the case of MP you can have a single player campaign to help push the MP out the door and get people i...
It's good to see that each of the consoles is selling fairly well for this time of year. I also am glad to see the PS3 making a deeper penetration in game sales since it's software sales were not so great last year. Now it would seem that it is getting in line with the others. Also, with the price drop of the 360, one would have to assume that these numbers do not account for that and knowing VGC, they don't at the moment and will be adjusted after the first NPD reports. Both NPD and VG are b...
This is great. I love that they are incorporating so much functionality with the PSP and PS3 together. Being able to turn on my PS3 anywhere was great. Being able to turn it on, start my play lists and then pump the music through my receiver that is wired to my speaker channels throughout the house is awesome. Now I don't have to go downstairs to kick my music on, I can do it the moment my feet hit the floor in the morning! This is awesome folks. Thanks Sony.
Sadly, this RROD crap is becoming the norm with so many folks. Only if people would stand up and say "no more", maybe MS would actually fix the issue instead of puting more Band-Aids on the problem.
Or at least it would seem that way. I have been anticipating this title for a LONG time now and with each delay I lose more and more excitement. Come out already!
You hit the nail right on the head with that post. Kudos.
Nuf said.
Glad to see that Sony is calling poor reviewers out like this. I for one was behind them when I read they were not letting 1up have a copy of the game for early review. Now we see why yet again and kudos to Sony for showing us all how pathetic 1up is.
Yet another dev that says they are pushing the consoles to their maximum... Yay and alrighty then...
An article contradicting this guys. Sorry, but I liked the cover systems in Gears, Uncharted and RS:V. In real life you would take cover. Granted the real life situations would not let you look around the room ahead while in cover like games do but in a way you are doing more than just running and gunning on the harder settings and to me, that is much more fun than another FPS run and gun style game.
PREY sold over a million copies long after it was in the bargain bin... The game was a bland FPS that was way too short and did nothing for the portal play that Valve perfected. Sorry, but PREY will not be missed on the PS3 any time soon. I will play #2 on the 360 but it will be a rental, nothing more.
And am still scratching my head on this one... Is this an early April fools joke?
I play fighting games for fighting. If I wanted to stare at boobs I would undress my wife or sit myself in front of the internet. In short, I think it's silly they have to do this to make sales. Here's looking forward to Tekken 6.
Nothing less, nothing more and it ruins the game for those of us trying to have fun playing lrgit. If this expolit gets out too much it is going to suck the game up bad.
Sony has made the best console at the moment and while the 360 has the largest game library, the games for the Sony PS3 are coming and have been released in the recent months proving that if you build it, and build it reliable, they will come...
Don't get me wrong, the 360 is a fun machine for its games but the hardware issues they are having with the console tarnish what could have been one of the best gaming consoles in history.
No, it would not stop Xbox fans and PS3 fans from bickering. It would only introduce yet another fan to the bickering. In gaming, there will always be a fan of one system that feels the need to argue with others.
Indeed they might be but I think it is safe to say that it is a safe bet. A safe bet indeed. I know I for one am looking forward to FFXIII and am glad to see that SE and Sony have their relationship intact after all of the poor press Sony was getting in year one. Now that Sony is showing that they have what it takes to come back and be the console people want they deserve a great RPG like FFXIII. It sure is shaping up to be a fine looking title.
For at least another ten to fifteen years. Even then they will only hold the larger portion of market share and not the entire market itself. There will be room for hard copies for many more years to come. Anybody that says a 6 to 8 mbps tranfer rate "digital HD download" is anything acceptable when compared to the better looking true 24 to 36 mbps transfer rate for a BD disc is kidding themselves. As HD gets more and more popular so will the standards that people want to see their ...
This all is looking good for us gamers that want to see a developing future in our favorite industry. The games industry is doing very well despite recession in the US.Looks like our gaming habits will be fed for a long time to come!
We win!
These games look great with the exception of only a couple that do not interest me in the least. I do say however that I am excited for this year and it looks like we will have plenty of great titles to play!
